The NetPeppers OTDR 1000 Singlemode is a compact multifunction fiber optic test platform for acceptance measurements and troubleshooting in FTTX, LAN, WAN and campus networks. At its core is an integrated single-mode OTDR with a dynamic range of up to 32 dB (1310/1550 nm), low attenuation dead zone of just 5 m and event dead zone of 1.5 m, making it especially suitable for short in-house fiber optic links. Automatic launch fiber detection enables correct evaluation of installation links without extra configuration. The SC/APC single-mode measurement port in angled design actively counteracts ghosting. Also included: a visible laser light source (VFL), universal optical power meter (OPM) and support for an optional fiber optic microscope for end face inspection. The integrated bidirectional measurement option correctly evaluates gainer/loser events. Features an 8-inch capacitive colour touchscreen (one of the largest in its class), 28-second start time, 8-hour battery runtime, Linux OS, USB interface for data transfer, automatic PDF report generation and LinkImage technology for simplified link display. Comes standard in a Sortimo-compatible L-Boxx 238 with storage for up to six FUTURA launch fibers. Warranty: 12 months (battery excluded).
