MetaGeek App is a professional Layer 2 Wi-Fi packet analysis and troubleshooting tool for Windows. It performs real-time 802.11 frame analysis across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands, with full Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) support when paired with a WLAN Pi Go or Oscium Nomad adapter. Unlike traditional protocol analyzers, MetaGeek App automatically detects and chronologically plots packet events — including association failures, roaming, retries, and sticky clients — eliminating the need to manually scroll through thousands of packets. It features WYSIWYG packet capture with live feedback, multi-adapter simultaneous capture (up to 3), intelligent client following across channels, airtime visualisation with multi-layer pie charts, and lightweight PCAP export for Wireshark or OmniPeek. Optional Wi-Spy Lucid integration adds Layer 1 spectrum analysis. Requires at least one supported packet capture adapter; three recommended.
